Update, 11 March: the 2013 ICCA Scandinavian Destinations Sustainability Index has now been released
A Sustainable Events Conference was held in Copenhagen on 6-7 September, part of the Danish Sustainability Events Initiative.
The conference was aimed at “showcasing the latest trends in sustainable meeting practice#, combining both best practice examples and case studies. All part of Scandinavia as the world’s first sustainable meetings region, topped off by the Scandinavian Destination Sustainability Index.
Here’s what can be gleaned from the Web:

The focus was exclusively on face to face events – there was no mention of remote attendance or amplification as a way of improving the sustainability of events.
