This blog is mainly about the 3Cs:
- communities – making connections, bringing people in
- content – creating it, organising it, editing it
- curation – sensemaking, top down and bottom up
I blog my investigations into research into social media, social network analysis, text mining and related topics at Ann’s CPD, along with blow by blow accounts of my MOOCs. I also blog at A/drift in DK and #escdk watch.
Lately I’ve been helping law teachers amplify their events and develop their social media strategies, as well as undertaking personal research into their take-up of social media. Before that I was Information Manager at UKCLE, the Higher Education Academy subject centre for law. Even further back in the mists of time I carried out similar roles at a local government think tank and in several UK government departments, worked on a European funded project setting up information gateways for small businesses and set up a website on telecoms for small businesses, sponsored by the UK telecoms regulator.
